Is fat really the worst thing a human being can be? Is it worse than cruelty, jealousy, hatred, or evil thought. I don't think so.
Is being fat or thin a curse? We should love our body in any way and that is the first step towards building one's confidence.
How often have we been a part of a conversation where insulting others on their body structures have seemed "cool" to us?
Whether we have been a part or have laughed together but these are definately some "uncool" comments addressed to one.
"You are too fat"
"Gosh! You wear an extra large t-shirt"
"You eat too much"
Words matter and have the power to hurt. Body shamming is same as bullying. People judge someone when they donot fit into their perceived meaning of being "beautiful". But they donot get it that every person comes in different shape and size and are alluring in their own way. Let's not forget that it is the character of a person which determines his/her actions and not the body fat. Body shamming can lead to inferiority complex and serious mental issues. Even a young child needs to go through this and it is heart-rending.
Feeling positive about one's body is the most important thing one can practice in daily life.
Be Proud Of Who You Are And Not Ashamed Of What People Think Of You.
